It baffles and astounds me that a werewolf-and-freaks horror/suspense series executive-produced by Eli Roth would not be for all tastes. Why, that goes against how I understood everything to work, man.

Well, from the 2 episodes I gather that my wife is currently watching, it’s really a show about a bunch of high class people doing drugs — in this case sipping blood out of wine glasses. Also involves one person randomly turning into a gargoyle or something and trying to kill a main character on occasion. There are also lesser rich supernatural people dealing heroin. When the rich people drink blood they like, they make sounds replicating those on found in softcore pornos.

It’s pretty trippy. I like shows where you don’t really know what’s going on and everything is mysterious. The show doesn’t hold your hand and lay out the whole world of the show up front.

My wife and I actually watched all of them. The first seasons weren't terrible and full of gratuity, but goddamn were the later seasons bad.

Wife loved the first season, and then season whatever when they got the original cast back together. Me? If I had to recommend any of it, it would be the first season. But I know nothing.

There are entertaining parts, but they get fewer and fewer as the show goes on. Season three was the last that I would give a positive rating to. I hate watched the last two seasons.
